Any way to get my prescription gles faster ?

Well my optometrist says that i cant get my gles until like 1 1/2 - 2 months later . is there any ways i can get them faster ? ive heard that it usually takes like a week or two for them to be ready . My optomestrist is at the Rainier Valley Optometric in Seattle WA . My gles are just regular gles made for near sighted person . Why is it taking so long and how can i make it faster ?
