USPS mail trucks actually run on Sunday, but mail is not delivered to businesses or homes on Sunday. Probably what happened is the postal worker picked up your mail Saturday afternoon and either delivered it straight to the distribution center on Monday morning or sent it in the USPS truck to the post office nearest the center on Sunday and they delivered it to the distribution center on Monday. Perhaps you live very close to one of their distribution centers.
