Tramp Roast: In Northern Michigan with had Tramp Roasts at family events. How do I make it? Nobody rembers.?

We boiled the food in a trash can over a campfire. There were potatoes, carrots, onions, corn and sausage in the can. Everything had a timetable of how long it was to be in the water and the last thing we added was the corn. Just looking for a written recipe to follow. Nobody exactly remembers how to make it.
